The main objectives of the Institute’s activities are:

• provision of services in the field of independent assessment of the quality of education, professional and public accreditation; assessment and certification of professional qualifications of graduates of professional educational organizations, workers, employees, specialists and managers of enterprises and organizations to meet the needs of individuals, society and the state in ensuring the quality of education;

• organizational and technical support for the procedures of institutional and programmatic accreditation of educational institutions, scientific organizations that implement educational programs of secondary, primary vocational, secondary vocational, higher professional and post-university education, additional education in accordance with the procedure established by law, regardless of the forms of ownership and departmental affiliation.

• development of standards and criteria for accreditation, conducting rating studies of educational programs of primary vocational, secondary vocational, higher professional and post-university education, organizations of technical and vocational education of the Kyrgyz Republic in areas and levels of specialist training.
