"Automated control system/ Programming in the OWEN Logic environment based on PR 200"

Course objectives

PR200: basic course highlights issues related to setup and the first experience of creating custom algorithms for programmable relays ARIES PR200 and PR1xx. The purpose of the course is to master the basic techniques of creating algorithms, configuring the screen and connecting external I/O modules.

Course structure and content:

Content

  • Overview of programmable ARIES relays.
  • Familiarization with the Owen Logic environment and the language of functional blocks.
  • Setting up the inputs and outputs of PR 200.
  • Logical operators.
  • Creating and using local variables.
  • Arithmetic operations and comparison and selection operations.
  • Creating custom functional blocks (macros).
  • Transferring macros to other Owen Logic projects.
  • Edge detectors, counters, triggers. Timers. Using a realtime clock.
