Course structure and content:

Day 1

  • Overview of ARIES PLC ControllersIntroduction to the CODESYS 2.3 programming system
  • Creating a new project
  • Working with inputs and outputs of PLK110-30 [M02]
  • Getting to know the CFC language
  • Standard CODESYS operators: logic, arithmetic, comparison
  • Principles of PLC operation. PLC Cycle
  • Creating a boot project
  • CODESYS variables and data types
  • Working with the compiler

Day 2

  • Debugging methods of the program
    Installing target files in the CODESYS environment
  • Setting up communication between PLC and CODESYS via Ethernet and RS-232 Debug
  • Setting network parameters, time and date inside the PLC
  • Standard library Standard.lib: timers, counters, edge detectors.
  • Introduction to visualization in CODESYS.

Day 3

  • Util.lib library: signal generator, two-position controller, PWM signal.
  • Demonstration of the PID algorithm in a PLC.
  • Overview of the Mx110 I/O modules.
  • The basic principles of information exchange in the RS-485 network using the ModBus protocol.
  • Configuring the Mx110 modules.
  • Setting up communication between modules and PLCs.
  • Features of the joint operation of PLCs and I/O modules.

Day 4

  • Overview of operator panels.
  • Setting up the operation of the SP3xx panel in Master mode.
  • Setting up the PLC operation in the Slave mode.
  • Principles of communication between PLC and operator panel.
  • Configuring the SP3xx panel.
  • PLC operation via two interfaces in Master and Slave modes
  • Data type conversion operators.

Day 5

  • User-defined software components: functional blocks, programs, functions.
  • Creating a custom library.
  • Export and import of project components.
  • Working with the PLC’s real-time clock.

Classes are held in an online format.
According to the results of the training, a certificate is issued
by RUC ARIES-IARC (Russia-KR)
