IT Specialist (LearnKey) Course Program

The IT Specialist (LearnKey) course is designed to prepare entry-level professionals for careers in information technology. The course covers fundamental knowledge of computer systems, programming, networking, databases, cybersecurity, and web development while preparing participants for the IT Specialist international certification.

Course Objective

To prepare participants to master the core areas of information technology, develop practical skills in working with modern IT tools, and ensure successful completion of the IT Specialist (LearnKey) international certification.

Duration

The total course workload is 50–70 academic hours.

The course is delivered online in English. The duration of the training depends on the selected schedule and course intensity.

Module 1. Introduction to IT

  • IT career roles and career opportunities;
  • Basic networking concepts.

Module 2. Computer Hardware

  • PC assembly and disassembly;
  • Installation and configuration of peripheral devices;
  • Hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting.

Module 3. Operating Systems

  • Windows OS: installation, configuration, and administration;
  • Linux OS: basic commands and file management;
  • User and account management;
  • Operating system updates, patches, and security.

Module 4. Networking Technologies

  • Networking fundamentals: LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS;
  • Router and switch configuration;
  • Network equipment and cabling solutions;
  • Basic networking protocols and network troubleshooting.

Module 5. Software and Office Applications

  • Microsoft Office / LibreOffice suite;
  • Working with documents, spreadsheets, and presentations;
  • Software installation and updates;
  • Collaboration and file sharing.

Module 6. Information Security

  • Antivirus software and malware protection;
  • Firewalls and traffic filtering;
  • Fundamentals of VPN and secure remote access;
  • Data encryption and backup.

Module 7. Troubleshooting

  • Hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting;
  • Software and network troubleshooting;
  • Working with real-world user support scenarios.
